Syridon Paterakis 2009 Found the Independent Artistic Company “Contraho Theatro” baced in Athens - Greece
Contraho Theatro has been founded from artists who want to give performances of plays which have a literary and artistic essence rather than a commercial value. The artists have been inspired by its continental forerunners, the Théâtre-Libre (Free Theatre) and Die Freie Bühne (Free Stage). They produced performances which are working on and for each location, using the specific possibilities and qualities of the space and the forms of visual theatre, physical theatre, object theatre and contemporary circus.
