Spyridon Paterakis
Spyridon Paterakis have been born in Athens, Greece on 1976.From 1987 until now he is studying Traditional Budo (Kamishin ryu ju-jitsu, Kodokan Judo, Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto ryu). At 1994 he finish his school stadies and take his diploma like an electrician, he work like electrician, light technician and in stage building for 7 years .At 2002 he begin working like a street Artist (with stilts, circus, juggling and Clowning) with the show production Company Lazy Dayz with the street theater Group Pandoum and in object manipulation with Equipoize in Athens Greece. At 2006 he move to Brussels and begin training and learning about Circus Arts studying in Espace Catastrophe for 3 month course on Juggling ,trapeze,floor acrobatics in Atelier du Trapeze on trapeze Volant, guest in ESAC on acrobatic ladder and taking part in diferent workshops for 3 months, after he return in Greece and with 5 more Circus Artist open in Athens Bythos a training space for Circus Arts and they make productions together for one year in the end of the same year Bythos is closing and he moves in Berlin Germany and begin training take part in workshops and working in the training space for juggling Joglier Katakomben for one and a half year. On June of 2007 he meet in Germany the street theater company Grotest Maru and work with them until 2013. On February of 2009 he found the company Contraho Theatro in Greece in the same year found with other Greek companies and artists “Tsirko” Street Arts and New Circus Community of Greece.On 2009 come together with two artist Adam Read and Barbara Pradzynska found and create the performance caled The Garden Project perform with it until now.
